Regional Controlling & FP&A Manager | Manufacturing Multinational l Vienna | Austria An international manufacturing group is looking to strengthen its finance team with an experienced professional to support regional controlling, FP&A and financial reporting across a broad international region.
Reporting to a senior regional finance leader, the role will work closely with finance teams and operating entities across the region, helping to ensure accurate and consistent financial reporting while providing analysis and insight into business performance.
The position combines regional controlling and financial planning with a strong understanding of the financial statements and the drivers behind performance. It will involve analysing movements, understanding the reasons behind reported results and helping to identify and resolve inconsistencies.
Working capital is an important area of focus, alongside forecasting, reporting and the continued development of finance processes across the organisation.
Key responsibilities
Manage and support regional controlling and reporting processes, helping to ensure accurate, consistent and timely financial information.
Support group and statutory reporting matters where required, including interaction with external auditors and advisers.
Collaborate with colleagues across the organisation on tax, treasury and wider finance matters.
Support budgeting, forecasting and wider FP&A activities, linking operational developments with their financial impact.
Analyse movements in the P&L, balance sheet and cash flow and provide clear explanations of business performance.
Provide management with financial analysis and insight across areas including working capital, capital expenditure, margins and operational performance.
Support month-end and year-end close and group reporting, helping to ensure the accuracy of financial information.
Act as an important link between regional finance and operating entities.
Contribute to finance process improvements and wider organisational change.
The profile
Strong foundation in controlling, FP&A and financial reporting, comfortable working both with financial analysis and the detail behind the numbers.
Exposure to manufacturing, group reporting and a complex international finance environment.
Knowledge of the balance sheet, P&L, working capital, margins and revenue recognition to analyse and explain business performance.
Fluent English and German are required, given the international scope of the role and interaction with local stakeholders.
