Financial & Commercial Analyst, Logistic Company, Geneva
I'm recruiting on behalf of my client in the logistics sector for a Financial & Commercial Analyst to join their Finance team.
This role offers the opportunity to support commercial decisions, identify profitability drivers and help improve business performance.
Key responsibilities
- Analyse operational, commercial and financial performance across services and trade routes.
- Identify opportunities to improve profitability and present recommendations to stakeholders.
- Build financial models to assess new or modified services.
- Prepare profitability forecasts and evaluate performance against expectations.
- Support customer profitability analysis and benchmarking.
- Deliver monthly business analysis and reporting for management.
Your background
- Degree in Finance or Business Management, or a relevant maritime background.
- 5-7 years of experience in a similar role, including experience in logistics or shipping.
- Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical ability.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach.
- Fluent English, written and spoken.
