On behalf of our client, a leading multinational, we are seeking a Financial Controller to join the Group Controlling team based in Switzerland.
Working closely with senior finance stakeholders, the role will provide financial insight across a portfolio of international businesses, with a strong focus on financial performance, reporting and operational analysis.
Responsibilities
- Support the leadership team in the financial oversight of assigned countries and businesses.
- Analyse revenue, costs and profitability and identify opportunities to improve performance.
- Undertake cost control and review operational expenditure.
- Review weekly and monthly financial reporting and investigate key variances.
- Review working capital, cash management and foreign exchange exposure.
- Undertake ad hoc financial analysis in collaboration with regional and group finance teams.
Profile
- Master's degree in Finance, Economics or a related discipline, or an equivalent professional qualification such as ACCA or CPA.
- Minimum of five years' experience within external audit, financial controlling or a comparable finance role.
- Strong financial and analytical skills, with the ability to understand operational performance.
- Experience within the logistics sector, either directly or through a substantial external audit portfolio, is essential.
- Advanced Excel skills and exposure to SAP.
- Business fluent in English; French, Spanish, Portuguese or Mandarin would be advantageous.
- Must be eligible to work in Switzerland.
