Job Description:

Get started being familiar with developing automotive OEM business at a German automotive OEM account (car manufacturer). Experience in semiconductor sales and technical knowledge of automotive and semiconductors is a benefit but not mandatory.

  • Responsible for OEM account management and business development, working closely with internal marketing, business units, and Tier1 sales teams.
  • Communicate clearly, report timely, and behave professionally internally and externally.
  • Customer Relationship: Approach contacts at technical and purchasing departments; develop relationships to drive business results. Process RFQs and lead quotation processes. Advocate for Renesas products to OEMs and Tier1 suppliers.
  • Business Development: Conduct follow-up meetings with potential OEM customers, identify business opportunities, develop sales strategies, and present to OEM Directors. Prepare and deliver technical and commercial presentations. Collaborate across departments and regions to meet global objectives.
  • Planning & Reporting: Report on sales progress, forecast revenue, develop account strategies, and review them regularly.

Qualifications:

  • Technical university degree, preferably in Electrical Engineering or similar.
  • Knowledge of Automotive and Semiconductor industries; experience with MCU, SoC, Analog & Power devices sales is preferred.
  • Highly motivated, proactive, result-oriented.
  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
  • Excellent communication and timely reporting skills.
  • Fluent in English and German.
  • Proficient with MS Office.
  • Sense of challenge and humor.
