As Sales Director Latin America (m/f/d), you will assume overall responsibility for the sales of our products and services in the Latin America region. You will be responsible for implementing sales and marketing strategies, identifying market opportunities, building sustainable business relationships and maintaining existing partnerships in coordination with the company headquarters. You will also analyze developments in your area and derive recommendations for action that make a significant contribution to the strategic development of the company.
You will report directly to the Head of Global Sales.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overall responsibility for the sale of products and services in Latin America
- Independent planning, development and implementation of sales strategies in your assigned sales region to achieve sales and growth targets
- Identification and acquisition of new business opportunities and targeted development of sustainable business relationships
- Supporting, maintaining and assisting existing customers on site (primarily in the compressed air trade)
- Active development of new markets in Latin America: development of new specialist dealers, key accounts and OEMs in the compressed air sector
- Carrying out market analyses to identify trends, business opportunities and compressed air applications
- Participation in trade fairs and events to represent our company in your sales region
Your Profile – Qualifications:
- Several years of sales experience in a similar position in the Latin America region in the industrial sector (ideally in the compressed air industry)
- Strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of market and customer needs as well as economic conditions in Latin America
- Authentic personality with clear communication and assertiveness, hands-on mentality and high goal and solution orientation. Leadership experience is an added advantage
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills in Spanish and English
- Structured, proactive and organized way of working with high problem-solving skills, customer orientation and quality awareness with a strong focus on results
- High willingness to travel within your sales territory and flexibility
- Successfully completed business or technical studies
