(Senior) Software Engineer - Backend (m/f/d)

With over 500 business customers and backed by top-tier investors, we’re looking to extend our engineering team with a Backend Developer. What You’ll Do:

• Development Efforts : Take charge of designing and implementing robust, scalable backend solutions for our B2B SaaS platform, driving key product features and integrations.

• Cloud Infrastructure : Work with cloud services (e.g., AWS) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker) for deployment and scalability.

• Build Impactful Features : Develop and ship backend functionality that directly influences product performance and customer satisfaction. Work on features that help us expand into new markets (France, Italy, etc.) and delight our growing customer base.

• Collaborate Across Teams : Work closely with cross-functional teams (product, frontend, design) to deliver seamless, customer-focused solutions with a high degree of reliability and scalability.

• Code Quality & Performance : Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code with a focus on performance and security. Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices.

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven Expertise : 4+ years of experience in software development, with a strong emphasis on backend engineering and server-side technologies. preferably in a startup or fast-paced environment.

• Technical Excellence : Strong knowledge of Node.js, TypeScript, GraphQL, Postgres, AWS, and Docker.

• Version Control : Strong experience with Git for version control and collaboration (Github).

• Product Mindset : A passion for building solutions that are both technically sound and deliver real value to customers.

• Collaboration & Proactiveness : Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset. In addition, you can also describe yourself as ambitious and a self-starter who are not afraid to take matters into your own hands.

• Renewable Enthusiasm : A genuine interest in clean energy and sustainability is a plus.

• Bonus Points : Side projects, open-source contributions, or other personal achievements in the tech community are highly valued.

Location
This is a full-time, in-office position . Our Berlin office is located at Alexanderplatz, with an additional office in Augsburg for those located in the southern part of Germany.
