Role Description

We are currently seeking an experienced R&D Grant Writing Expert with a strong background in biotechnology, bioinformatics, or a related scientific field. This role involves supporting the preparation and submission of high-quality grant proposals for national and international R&D funding opportunities. The ideal candidate will bring a proven track record of success in grant acquisition to craft compelling proposals aligned with strategic research priorities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify suitable R&D funding calls.
• Lead or support the development of grant proposals from concept to submission
• Translate complex scientific and technical content into clear, compelling language
• Ensure all documentation and submissions comply with specific funding requirements

Requirements:

• Master\’s in Engineering, Bioinformatics, or a related scientific/computer science discipline
• Strong knowledge of European and/or national funding programs
• Native-level German proficiency and English fluency (spoken and written)
• Excellent written, communication and organizational skills
• Hands-on experience in successful R&D grant writing
• Ensure all documentation and submissions comply with specific funding requirements
