Team Lead IT and Infrastructure (m/w/d)

Originally founded in Switzerland in 2014, mementor has had its headquarters in Leipzig since January 2020. With its “apps on prescription”, mementor starts where the conventional care of patients reaches its limits. The aim is to remove treatment barriers and to give those affected access to evidence-based therapy methods.

We at mementor are a diverse, international and highly motivated team with core competencies in the fields of psychology, medicine, software development, digital design, sales and marketing. Together we develop digital health applications (DiGAs) in the field of sleep medicine and other health specialist fields.

Our IT department is dedicated to maintaining our infrastructure, ensuring its security, and providing support to employees in using IT tools. We also work closely with our software development team in a Dev-Ops environment. We are looking for you to join us as Team Lead IT and Infrastructure (m/w/d) to ensure the seamless operation and security of our IT infrastructure.

Your varied activities include:

• Professional and disciplinary leadership of the IT team (deployment and vacation planning, regular and individual feedback discussions, team development towards productive and efficient collaboration).
• Co-development and implementation of an access strategy for all digital resources, including email, communication tools, and VPN, to ensure a smooth and secure working environment.
• Planning and implementing a long-term hardware management strategy that optimizes the provision and configuration of employee laptops and printers.
• Development and implementation of a comprehensive data backup concept that protects business data from loss and damage.
• Responsibility for designing and managing a secure network infrastructure, including the strategic configuration of routers and switches to increase efficiency and security.
• Introduction of a comprehensive monitoring system to continuously monitor the operation of existing products and applications and proactively respond to performance or security issues.
• Development of a long-term infrastructure strategy to create a highly available and scalable system and support corporate goals.
• Planning and implementing a sustainable strategy for managing Linux servers to ensure their efficiency and security.
• Identification, implementation, and management of tools to optimize the operation and development of IT systems to improve workflows.
• Providing strategic technical support and advice to employees on the use of Windows and Mac platforms to increase employee productivity and satisfaction.
• Ensuring a quality-conscious approach and adherence to the highest security standards in all IT initiatives and processes.

What your profile looks like:

• Degree in IT or equivalent qualification.
• Proven experience in the area of IT System Administration.
• Good knowledge of Network management and security, System administration (Linux), Containerization, IT hardware management, Data backup and recovery.
• Analytical thinking skills and ability to solve complex problems.
• Ability to work in a team, good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in an international environment.
• Very good command of written and spoken English and German (both B2).
