Several of our German clients run the tools we set up on their own servers and Microsoft 365 tenants, and those systems need looking after once the project is live.
We're hiring a Systems Administrator in Germany for that. Full-time, from home anywhere in Germany; the team in Chicago is seven hours behind.
Five things you'll do
- Look after Windows and Linux servers, user accounts and permissions in client environments
- Manage Microsoft 365 and Entra ID: licences, groups and multi-factor sign-in
- Install patches and updates on an agreed schedule and check that backups restore
- Answer escalated tickets from client IT teams
- Keep system documentation and runbooks current
Three things we need
- Training as Fachinformatiker Systemintegration, a degree in IT, or comparable experience
- First experience administering Windows Server or Linux (internships count)
- Networking basics: DNS, DHCP and VPN
Also helps: PowerShell or Bash scripting; Intune; Azure.
