Business Process Analyst in Hamburg

The job:
Before we change anything at a client in Germany, we write down how the process really runs: who submits what, who approves it, where it waits. The Business Process Analyst runs those interviews and workshops and turns them into process maps the client signs off. Full-time, working from home in Germany, with our Chicago colleagues joining in your afternoon.
Key responsibilities:

• Interview client staff and run workshops to map current processes
• Draw process maps in BPMN and note delays, rework and manual steps
• Measure cycle times and volumes from system data
• Write the requirements for the new workflow with our consultants
• Prepare training notes for the teams who will use the new process

What we do:
We are an operations and technology consultancy in Chicago. For every connection we build, we agree the rules for new records, updates, duplicates and failed transfers before anyone writes code.
Skills & experience:

- A degree in business administration, business informatics or industrial engineering
- First experience in process management, consulting or organization development (internships count)
- A process modeling tool, e.g. Signavio, ARIS, Visio or Bizagi

Optional extras:

- Lean or Six Sigma training
- Experience with SAP or Microsoft Dynamics processes
