Investment Officer Financial Institutions in Lima, Peru

The position is meant for a dedicated, client-oriented professional who has a sound knowledge of the Latin American market.

Your Main Tasks

• Developing, managing, and growing responsAbility’s financial sector debt investments in the LATAM region.
• Leading the full investment cycle, including origination, due diligence and credit risk assessments of existing and/or potential counterparties and portfolio monitoring.
• Cooperation with FI Debt team, credit analysis, investment committee, transaction management, legal and compliance and external service providers to implement transactions.
• Monitoring of the investment portfolio and corresponding markets.
• Representing the company at conferences, seminars and other relevant events in the region as required.

Your Experience and Skills

• Three years working experience as Investment Officer (desirable) or 8 years relevant experience in the financial sector.
• Sound knowledge of microfinance, SME finance and leasing business.
• Proven network of contacts among investors and investees is a plus.
• Strong analytical and presentation skills; a team player with a proactive, hands-on and flexible approach.
• Degree in finance, business economics, or a related field and high degree of flexibility regarding travelling. CFA or advanced graduate degree preferred.
• Proficient working ability in Spanish and English, spoken and in writing.
• Interest in and enthusiasm for impact investments.
