What you’ll do:

• Support a comprehensive range of services across 3000 server systems in multiple data centres
• Utilise modern communication and task management tools to enable first-class collaboration
• Build, manage and optimise containerised applications to make our IT infrastructure even more efficient and scalable with the use of Kubernetes
• As a central part of a large and dynamic IT environment, you will flexibly engage in multiple technologies and deepen your expertise in a specialised area
• Work closely with development teams to ensure applications are implemented with precision and efficiency
• Willingness to master the challenges of a state-of-the-art IT landscape

What you’ll need:

• Academic degree or training with an IT focus, such as a degree in computer science, IT specialist for system integration, application development, or a comparable qualification that shows your depth in the field.
• Passion for collaborative work, where you value the synergy effect of a united team.
• Proficient with Linux-based operating systems and solid understanding as well as practical expertise.
• Hands-on experience with at least three of the following technologies: Docker, Kubernetes, Linux, Jenkins, SaltStack, Python, Git, Kafka, Elasticsearch, Prometheus or Artifactory
• Analytical nature and strong interest in continuous learning and new technologies to stay at the forefront of innovation
• Enthusiasm to expand and optimise a highly automated infrastructure and drive innovation that increases efficiency and performance.
• German and English at a good level.
