Finance Lead, (f/m/x) – Remote in DE, ES, IT or DK – SaaS/Greentech

What You Will Do
Reporting directly to the CEO, you will take full ownership of the company’s financial operations, guiding strategy and ensuring our financial practices align with the company’s growth strategy:

• Take full responsibility for financial planning, budgeting, reporting, and cash management
• Develop and implement financial strategies to drive sustainable growth aligned with our goals
• Oversee financial forecasting and analysis to support strategic decision-making
• Manage financial reporting, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery
• Handle daily operations, including accounting, treasury, tax, and risk management
• Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for continuous improvement
• Provide strategic financial insights to the CEO and executive team
• Manage the company’s capital structure, balancing debt and equity for growth
• Represent the finance function with external stakeholders, including investors and auditors
• Drive continuous improvement of financial systems and processes as the company scales
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations, including tax laws and industry requirements

Who You Are

• Fluent in German and English
• Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements in Germany with the ability to ensure adherence across the organization
• You have already held a similar role in a mid-sized organization
• Experience in leading financial operations and strategy, preferably in a startup or scale-up environment
• In-depth knowledge of financial management principles, including accounting, treasury, tax, and risk management
• Data-driven with a strong analytical mindset
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to interpret complex financial data and provide strategic insights
• Comfortable with occasional travel for management offsites and strategic planning meetings
