Responsibilities Build, maintain and quality‑check fund / asset‑level financial models (acquisition, business plan, refinancing, disposal) and related investor‑facing outputs. Translate analysis into clear PowerPoint materials (IC memos, investment updates, scenario decks) in line with firm standards and tight timelines.
Technical Skills (Excel Modelling)
Advanced Excel:
dynamic formulas (XLOOKUP / INDEX‑MATCH, SUMIFS, dynamic arrays, sensitivity analysis / data tables), structured tables, data validation, named ranges, scenario tools, and disciplined workbook architecture.
Financial modelling:
cash‑flow modelling principles.
Real estate underwriting (NOI, capex, debt, waterfall basics), sensitivity tables, and IRR / MOIC / TVPI‑style performance metrics with transparent assumptions.
Data Handling Importing / cleaning data (Power Query preferred), reconciling sources, error checking, and producing audit‑ready model outputs.
PowerPoint & Communication
Output communication:
Communicate model outputs as decision‑relevant insights (risks, drivers, scenarios, recommendations), not just numbers.
Decks:
Build concise, investment committee‑ready decks (charts, tables, key messages, appendix discipline) and ensure consistent formatting and storyline.
Working Style & Personality Fit
Attention to detail
and strong QA mindset (self‑checking, consistency checks, reconciliation).
Independence + Structured work:
comfortable owning workstreams end‑to‑end with limited supervision; proactive in clarifying assumptions and risks.
Operational resilience:
able to handle peaks, shifting priorities, and iterative feedback without loss of quality.
Experience
3–5 years
in private equity / real‑estate private equity, investment banking, transaction advisory, valuation, or a similar modelling‑heavy role.
Language Skills
Fluent English
(working language) with strong writing skills for IC papers and investor reporting.
German:
advanced preferred; otherwise, proven ability to review and extract key points from German‑language documents (construction plans, leases, reports, advisor materials).
Cooperation Format
Long‑term / Permanent Commitment on flexible contracting basis:
we are happy to consider flexible contracting and operational set‑up which is however able to deliver on the spec above.
Short‑term Bridge Cooperation:
we are happy to consider short‑term availability to support the team until a full‑time resource is hired.
Compensation & Benefits
Min. € 55.000 per annum for 40 h/week, subject to relevant experience and qualifications.
Annual bonus subject to performance of the individual and the firm.
