Working closely with global and regional stakeholders, the role will translate complex initiatives into actionable communications for country teams.brThis is an intentionally broad remit, spanning a wide range of disciplines. We are seeking a versatile professional who approaches this breadth as an opportunity and who understands that the scope of the role reflects the scale of our ambition as a growing business.brReporting to the VP, Corporate Affairs, Europe this role ensures that the Corporate Affairs strategy for Europe is helping enable the success of local country organizations across the region. The strategy should also be aligned global Corporate Affairs strategies and will be part of the Global Internal Communications team.brRole dimensions:brRallying Behind the VisionbrulliBring the global mission and company values to life through a compelling regional narrative that is relevant to different countries and cultures. /liliTranslate strategic priorities into clear actions, connecting employees’ work and local initiatives to the organisation’s wider goals. /liliShare stories and create two-way communication opportunities that build understanding, engagement and support. /liliPartner with event and logistics teams to shape the content, format and employee experience for key internal company meetings and events.br/li /ulLeadership CommunicationsbrulliAdvise regional and country leaders on message, tone, timing and channel, drafting clear and authentic leadership communications. /liliPlan leader-hosted moments, including town halls and QAs, and prepare leaders for high-profile or sensitive communications. /liliEstablish a consistent communication rhythm and use employee feedback to strengthen leadership visibility and effectiveness.br/li /ulChannel Strategy ManagementbrulliWork with the global communications team to define the purpose, audience and governance of channels used across country organisations in Europe. /liliManage regional channels and editorial calendars, providing templates and guidance that support consistent, targeted communications. /liliMonitor performance and refine the channel mix to improve reach, accessibility, engagement and efficiency.br/li /ulBusiness Partnering with Key Functions in EuropebrulliAct as a strategic communications partner to Commercial, Human Resources, Legal, Supply Chain, Corporate Affairs, Market Access and IT leaders across Europe. /liliDevelop clear, locally relevant communications that support functional priorities while remaining aligned with the organisation’s strategy and brand. /liliCreate practical communication materials, coordinate activity across functions and use stakeholder feedback to improve effectiveness.br/li /ulScaling Systems Change AdoptionbrulliPartner with relevant teams to communicate systems, policy and process changes in clear, accessible language. /liliDevelop change communication plans and practical materials that explain what is changing, why it matters and what employees need to do. /liliCoordinate communication milestones and monitor understanding and adoption, providing additional support where needed.br/li /ulCapability Building (Tech and AI) and Regional AlignmentbrulliBuilds team fluency in AI-enabled tools for audience insight, message drafting, and real-time measurement and sets clear standards for responsible, compliant use. /liliDevelops best-practice toolkits, guidance, and training that build local advocacy and policy capacity, including AI and digital literacy. /liliTreats digital and AI-enabled engagement as core, not optional, to contemporary corporate affairs communications. /liliFosters cross-country learning on emerging tools and practices. /liliPartners with Global to align European communications with the global narrative, feeding in global insights.br/li /ulstrongRequired Skills, Experience and Education:br/strongulliDegree in Law, Communications, Arts, Political Science, Public Health, Life Sciences, or a related field. /lili10+ years experience working in Communications /liliExcellent leadership, influence, and team mindset. /liliStrong ability to develop and deliver impactful Communications campaigns. /liliExcellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, including storytelling and policy translation for lay audiences. /liliSkilled in managing complex stakeholder environments and partnerships. /liliMinimum 5 years in Internal Communications. /liliPharma- or Biotech experience. /liliStrong digital communications skills, with experience running campaigns and stakeholder engagement across web, social, and other digital channels. /liliHands-on fluency with generative AI tools for communications workflows (drafting, monitoring, sentiment analysis), with an understanding of responsible use, disclosure, and governance in a regulated industry.br/li /ulstrongPreferred Skills:br/strongulliFluency in English.
