Founded on rigorous scientific inquiry and a willingness to challenge long-held assumptions, Revolution Medicines is committed to changing the trajectory of disease for patients with RAS-addicted cancers worldwide. /p pOur people are united by a shared way of working: follow the science, challenge assumptions, act with urgency and hold ourselves to a high standard of rigor—all in service of patients. /p h3The Opportunity: /h3 pWe are seeking an experienced, commercially focused Director, Senior Corporate Counsel to serve as a key legal advisor for the Company’s midsized European markets as Revolution Medicines prepares for the launch and commercialization of its first oncology product. /p pReporting to the VP, Legal, Europe, this role will provide practical, risk-based legal advice across commercial operations, market access, competition law, healthcare compliance, contracting, litigation and external stakeholder engagement for selected midsized European markets. The role will partner closely with country and regional leadership to support compliant, scalable commercialization across markets with varying local legal and regulatory requirements. /p pThe successful candidate will be a proactive business partner who balances legal risk with commercial objectives in a fast-paced launch environment. /p pThis is an opportunity to help shape the legal strategy for several important European midsized markets while partnering closely with regional and local leaders to build a high-performing, compliant commercial organization. /p pThis role complements dedicated in-market counsel for larger direct affiliates. Together, these roles create a clear split of responsibilities: /p ul liMidsized Markets Counsel: Legal support for selected European midsized markets, including commercial operations, market access, competition law, litigation, local legal issues, and business partnerships. /li liDistributor Markets Counsel: Cross-border commercial contracting and governance for European distributor markets outside the company's direct affiliate footprint, with responsibility for negotiating and managing distribution relationships. /li /ul h3Key Responsibilities /h3 h3Strategic Business Partner /h3 ul liServe as a key legal advisor to country and regional leadership teams across selected European midsized markets. /li liProvide practical, solution-oriented legal advice to support commercial decision-making and business strategy across markets. /li liAct as a trusted business partner, proactively identifying legal risks, opportunities and scalable solutions across the midsized markets portfolio. /li liSupport successful launch and ongoing commercialization of the Company's oncology portfolio in selected European midsized markets. /li /ul h3Commercial, Contracting Business Partner Support In-Market Legal Advice /h3 ul liAdvise on commercial operations across selected European midsized markets, including Sales, Marketing, Medical Affairs, Market Access, Government Affairs, Regulatory Affairs and Finance. /li liProvide legal support for promotional activities, field-based engagements, digital initiatives, early access and patient support programs across markets. /li liDraft, review and negotiate commercial agreements with consultants, vendors, service providers and strategic partners. /li liSupport third-party due diligence, collaboration governance and ongoing business partner relationship management. /li /ul h3Market Access Pricing /h3 ul liLead legal support for pricing, reimbursement, tenders, healthcare contracting and market access initiatives across selected European midsized markets. /li liDraft and negotiate rebate agreements, market access agreements and value-based arrangements with public and private healthcare stakeholders, as applicable by market. /li liPartner with Market Access and Government Affairs to assess the legal impact of evolving reimbursement policies. /li /ul h3Competition Healthcare Law /h3 ul liAdvise on European and local competition law issues affecting pharmaceutical commercialization, including pricing, distribution, information exchanges, collaborations, tenders and competitor interactions. /li liCounsel teams on healthcare professional engagements, transfers of value, sponsorships, grants and interactions with healthcare organizations. /li liPartner with Compliance to support adherence to applicable pharmaceutical industry codes and internal policies. /li /ul h3Litigation Dispute Resolution /h3 ul liManage actual and threatened litigation involving selected European midsized markets. /li liCoordinate with external counsel on commercial disputes, regulatory matters, employment-related legal issues (working alongside Employment Counsel), product-related claims and investigations. /li liDevelop litigation strategy in collaboration with the VP Legal, Europe and senior management. /li /ul ul liManage legal holds, investigations and dispute resolution processes. /li /ul h3Regulatory Local Legal Support /h3 ul liAdvise on local legal requirements impacting commercial operations across selected European midsized markets. /li liSupport implementation of new legislation affecting pharmaceutical companies. /li liProvide legal guidance on consumer protection, unfair competition, advertising, procurement and commercial regulations, taking into account local market requirements. /li liCoordinate with specialist external counsel on complex local law matters where appropriate. /li /ul h3Cross-Functional Collaboration /h3 ul liPartner with Global Legal, Compliance, Regulatory Affairs, Medical Affairs, Quality, Supply Chain, Finance and Human Resources. /li liSupport audits, compliance initiatives and implementation of legal policies, templates and best practices across Europe. /li liDevelop and deliver legal training for country teams across selected European midsized markets. /li /ul h3Outside Counsel Management /h3 ul liSelect, instruct and manage external counsel across selected European midsized markets. /li liOversee litigation budgets and legal spend to ensure efficient delivery of high-quality legal services. /li /ul h3Required Skills, Experience and Education /h3 ul liJ.D. or equivalent law degree and admission to practice in at least one U.S. state or European jurisdiction. /li li10+ years of legal experience, including significant in-house or law firm experience supporting the life sciences industry. /li liStrong knowledge of European pharmaceutical law, commercial legal issues, competition law, healthcare compliance and promotional regulations, with the ability to navigate differing local market requirements. /li liExperience advising commercial pharmaceutical organizations, including market access, reimbursement or healthcare contracting matters. /li liDemonstrated ability to advise senior business leaders in a highly regulated environment. /li liExcellent negotiation, communication and stakeholder management skills. /li liAbility to travel approximately 10–20% within Europe and internationally, including periodic travel to the Company’s U.S. and European offices. /li /ul h3Preferred Skills /h3 ul liExperience supporting oncology or specialty pharmaceutical products. /li liIn-house legal experience supporting pharmaceutical affiliates or commercial teams across multiple European markets. /li liExperience supporting a first commercial launch. /li liFamiliarity with European healthcare contracting, pricing and reimbursement frameworks across midsized markets. /li liExperience managing commercial
