Job Description As part of our eCommerce Product Stream development team, you will focus on high-impact product data solutions for the REWE Group. Your core tasks will include:
Design & Development:
Collaborate with the team to design and develop scalable, maintainable, and extensible software products within an international context.
Agile Collaboration:
Actively participate in the entire software development lifecycle as a member of an agile development team.
Creative Problem Solving:
Use your experience to find creative solutions to complex challenges, always looking at the "big picture."
Innovation:
Evaluate and implement new "state-of-the-art" technical solutions.
Quality Assurance:
Ensure long-term usability and scalability of our IT solutions by optimizing systems and writing "Clean Code" as a foundation for continuous development.
Qualifications
A completed degree or formal training in IT/Software Development with several years of relevant experience.
Knowledge of
Java (version 17 or higher)
and software architecture.
Proficiency in working with
JSON, REST Web Services , and
Event-driven Architecture .
Solid understanding of
Oracle (PL/SQL) .
Experience with agile development ( Scrum ) and modern tools like
Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD (Gitlab) , and
Kafka .
Familiarity with AI-assisted development,
IntelliJ, Github Copilot , and
Google Cloud Platform (GCP) .
Bonus Points:
Knowledge of
Kotlin
is a distinct advantage.
