Rex.zone is hiring Germany-based, bilingual (English/German) AI Generalist Trainers to support AI/LLM workflows through RLHF, large language model evaluation, and training data quality improvement by evaluating, ranking, and validating model outputs with clear rationales.
About The Role
As a Germany-based English & German AI Generalist Trainer at Rex.zone, you will evaluate and improve large language model outputs in real-world AI/LLM workflows. You will follow annotation guidelines compliance requirements, apply consistent evaluation rubrics, and contribute directly to training data quality across multilingual (German/English) tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate and rank model-generated responses against project rubrics and annotation guidelines
- Perform QA evaluation to identify errors, inconsistencies, and policy violations
- Write clear rationales explaining reasoning, preference decisions, and correctness
- Validate outputs for factuality, coherence, safety, and instruction-following
- Conduct prompt evaluation and pairwise comparisons to support RLHF pipelines
- Review labeled data for training data quality and annotation guidelines compliance
- Flag edge cases, ambiguous instructions, and data quality risks
- Apply content safety labeling where required and document outcomes
- Collaborate asynchronously to improve evaluation consistency and model performance
Basic Qualifications
- Must be based in Germany and able to work remotely full-time
- Fluency in both German and English (reading, writing, comprehension)
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to provide structured reasoning
- Comfortable following detailed annotation guidelines and meeting quality targets
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in data labeling, annotation, QA, search evaluation, content moderation, or AI evaluation
- Familiarity with LLM evaluation, RLHF concepts, and prompt evaluation methods
- Self-driven, reliable, and able to manage time independently in a remote environment
- Experience applying content safety labeling and improving training data quality
Compensation
USD $35–$40 per hour depending on skills and task scope.
Salary range for posting: $30–$50 per hour.
