Key Responsibilities
- Install and assemble advanced electrical containment systems, including ladder, tray, trunking, basket, and galvanised conduit.
- Install LV power systems, busbar distribution, and complex support structures.
- Execute first‑ and second‑fix electrical works to data‑centre quality standards.
- Pull, dress, terminate, and label cables with precision and compliance.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, layout plans, and BIM documentation.
- Install lighting, small power, containment, and associated systems across designated zones.
- Collaborate with supervisors, engineers, QA/QC, and other site trades.
- Ensure all work aligns with electrical regulations, client specifications, and site procedures.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and well‑organised work area.
- Report progress, issues, and hazards promptly to site management.
Essential Requirements
- Qualified Electrician or Electrical General Operative.
- Experience on data centre, industrial, commercial, or large‑scale electrical projects.
- Strong capability with containment systems (ladder, tray, trunking, basket).
- Ability to read and work confidently from electrical drawings.
- Solid knowledge of electrical regulations and safe working practices.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a coordinated team.
Desirable Skills & Experience
- Prior hyperscale data centre or mission‑critical project experience.
- International Driving Licence.
- IPAF / PASMA / MEWP certifications.
- Experience with large‑scale cable management and high‑volume installations.
- Exposure to QA/QC processes and data‑centre commissioning phases.
Health & Safety Expectations
- Strict adherence to all site health & safety protocols.
- Correct use of PPE at all times.
- Immediate reporting of hazards, incidents, or unsafe practices.
