Overview
As Head of Consolidation and Accounting you lead monthly, quarterly, and annual closings and the group consolidation across legal entities. You ensure accurate financial reporting, maintain compliance with accounting standards, and oversee statutory and consolidated statements. You coordinate intercompany reconciliation and audits, and provide guidance on complex transactions. You drive process improvement and automation while leading a small accounting team. You report to the VP Group Accounting & Controlling and support CFO-driven reporting for management and shareholders.

- Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual closing and consolidation for all legal entities
- Ensure accurate financial reporting and high-quality management information
- Maintain and improve accounting and reporting framework for compliance and governance
- Supervise preparation of statutory and consolidated financial statements and ensure timely delivery
- Oversee intercompany reconciliation and alignment of reporting across entities
- Serve as key contact for external auditors and manage the audit process
- Provide accounting guidance on complex transactions and reporting issues
- Develop and maintain accounting policies, process documentation, and internal controls
- Support CFO in financial reporting to management and shareholders, including analysis of results
- Drive continuous improvement, automation, and simplification of accounting and reporting processes
- Lead, coach, and develop the accounting and consolidation team
Zentrale Anforderungen
- University degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics
- Professional accounting qualification (CPA, ACCA, or Swiss Certified Accountant) is an advantage
- Minimum 10 years in accounting, consolidation, and reporting in international/multi-entity environment
- Expertise with ERP and consolidation tools, especially IBM Cognos
- Technical knowledge in accounting, consolidation, and financial reporting
- Experience preparing consolidated financial statements and coordinating audits
- Strong understanding of US GAAP/IFRS and reporting processes
- Ability to translate complex financial data for management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills across levels
- Analytical, structured mindset with hands-on approach
- Leadership experience to guide a small high-performing team
