What we are looking for

• Responsibility and control of the IT services LAN and WLAN for the Rheinmetall Group
• Technical and disciplinary management of an engineering team
• 3rd level support of the Rheinmetall network components routers, switches, access points, SD-WAN, DDI etc
• Planning and continuous further development of the network architecture
• Control and monitoring of service provision and operational performance in LAN and WLAN service
• Ensuring the security of the communication infrastructure in close cooperation with the cybersecurity team and service providers
• Investigating, evaluating and implementing innovations and new LAN and WLAN technologies

This position can be filled at the Kiel, Bremen, Berlin, Düsseldorf, Neuenstadt, Kassel and Unterlüß locations or remotely if necessary.

What qualifications you should have

• Completed studies in computer science / business informatics or comparable training
• Strong and demonstrable experience in personnel management
• Very good knowledge and demonstrable experience of LAN and WLAN architectures and technologies
• Practical experience with LAN and WLAN operation, monitoring and service levels
• Good knowledge and experience in project management in an international environment
• Relevant certifications desirable
• Enthusiasm for development work as part of an IT transformation
• Very good written and spoken German and English skills
• Willingness to travel to other locations
