As part of its growth, the company is looking for a Compliance Manager with Export Control responsibility to strengthen its governance framework and ensure full compliance with international export regulations.

As a Compliance Manager (Export Control & Trade Compliance), your responsibilities will include:
- Classifying products and technologies under applicable export control regulations
- Reviewing export transactions, end-use declarations, sanctions, embargoes, and licensing requirements
- Managing export, transfer, and shipping license applications, renewals, and documentation
- Coordinating interactions with governmental authorities and internal stakeholders
- Developing and maintaining export control policies, procedures, and governance frameworks
- Implementing practical controls and compliance processes across the organization
- Advising Legal, Finance, Logistics, Engineering, and Compliance teams on export-related matters
- Delivering training and awareness programs on export control requirements
- Monitoring regulatory developments and translating new requirements into business processes
- Strengthening documentation, monitoring, and escalation procedures
Necessary skills:
- Degree or professional training in International Trade, Customs, Law, Compliance, or a related field
- Proven experience in Export Control and Trade Compliance
- Strong knowledge of German and international export control regulations
- Good understanding of AWG/AWV, Dual-Use regulations, EAR, and ITAR frameworks
- Ability to balance operational case management with strategic policy development
- Experience interacting with governmental authorities
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Fluent German and English
- Eligibility for German Security Clearance (SÜ2/Ü2)
Salary:
€60,000 - €95,000 gross annual salary, depending on experience, performance, and expertise.
