To join the office in Geneva, Rhone is looking for an: ACCOUNTING MANAGER
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage the full accounting cycle for a portfolio of group entities, from daily operations through to the preparation of financial statements and audit support Oversee monthly, quarterly and annual reporting processes, ensuring deadlines and accuracy standards are met Prepare statutory accounts and coordinate with internal and external auditors across multiple jurisdictions Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards (Swiss GAAP, IFRS) and regulatory requirements Perform account reconciliations, monitor accruals, and ensure integrity of financial data Manage tax reporting and filings, including corporate and local compliance requirements Support audit processes, including preparation of supporting documentation and resolution of audit queries Contribute to consolidated financial reporting and group-level financial statement reviews Act as a key user for accounting systems and contribute to system improvements and implementations Collaborate closely with international teams (e.g. The Bahamas, other offices) to ensure consistency of processes and reporting Participate in budgeting, management reporting, and financial analysis activities Support operational finance processes, including payment approvals and controls where required Identify opportunities to improve processes, controls, and efficiency within the finance function QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum 10 years’ experience in accounting or financial reporting roles Strong knowledge of Swiss GAAP and the Code of Obligations; familiarity with IFRS is an advantage Solid experience working with audits and statutory reporting processes Fluent English and French, both written and spoken Strong proficiency in Excel and accounting systems (such as WinEur) PROFILE
