To join the office in Geneva, Rhone is looking for an

• ACCOUNTING MANAGER
• CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
• Manage the full accounting cycle for a portfolio of group entities, from daily operations through to the preparation of financial statements and audit support
• Oversee monthly, quarterly and annual reporting processes, ensuring deadlines and accuracy standards are met
• Prepare statutory accounts and coordinate with internal and external auditors across multiple jurisdictions
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards (Swiss GAAP, IFRS) and regulatory requirements
• Perform account reconciliations, monitor accruals, and ensure integrity of financial data
• Manage tax reporting and filings, including corporate and local compliance requirements
• Support audit processes, including preparation of supporting documentation and resolution of audit queries
• Contribute to consolidated financial reporting and group-level financial statement reviews
• Act as a key user for accounting systems and contribute to system improvements and implementations
• Collaborate closely with international teams (e. g. The Bahamas, other offices) to ensure consistency of processes and reporting
• Participate in budgeting, management reporting, and financial analysis activities
• Support operational finance processes, including payment approvals and controls where required
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, controls, and efficiency within the finance function

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum 10 years’ experience in accounting or financial reporting roles
• Strong knowledge of Swiss GAAP and the Code of Obligations; familiarity with IFRS is an advantage
• Solid experience working with audits and statutory reporting processes
• Fluent English and French, both written and spoken
• Strong proficiency in Excel and accounting systems (such as Win Eur)
