Your Responsibilities
- Independent development, sizing, and design of new products and systems in projects and subprojects
- Technical feasibility studies using calculations and FEM simulations, as well as justification of design decisions
- Collaboration in the construction of functional models and prototypes to validate concepts
- Preparation of standards-compliant sales and manufacturing documentation (3D models, drawings, bill of materials, circuit diagrams, and pneumatic schematics)
- Participation in FMEA/FMECA and processing of change requests within the internal change management process
Your Profile
- Bachelor's or master's degree (from a university or university of applied sciences) in mechanical engineering or electrical engineering
- Experience in product development
- Proficiency with CAD and simulation tools, ideally Autodesk Inventor
- Experience in the rail industry or a similarly regulated environment is a plus
- Ability to work independently and with precision, and to think holistically
- Quality-conscious with sound technical judgment
- Clear and goal-oriented communication, both internally and with customers
- Fluent in spoken and written German and English
