Overview In this role you will lead the Group’s global government affairs execution in key markets, translating policy priorities into market-specific plans. You will manage Switzerland and US engagements and coordinate with Maisons to shape policy discussions affecting the luxury sector. You will monitor regulatory developments, design advocacy strategies, and build senior-level relationships with policymakers. The position blends strategic oversight with hands-on stakeholder influence to protect market access and support long-term brand reputation. Verantwortungsbereiche Lead the implementation of the global government affairs strategy across international markets with geographies prioritized Translate policy priorities (ESG, trade, data, tax, product regulation) into market engagement plans Lead execution in priority markets, aligning with Group positions and messaging Develop and execute tailored engagement strategies in Switzerland and the United States Build and maintain senior-level relationships with policymakers and regulators Support leadership engagement with government stakeholders, especially in Switzerland Coordinate messaging and ensure consistency across Maisons Develop annual stakeholder engagement plans with objectives, milestones, and measurable outcomes Monitor policy, legislative, and regulatory developments in assigned markets Develop and implement advocacy strategies and coordinate with trade associations Represent the Group in trade associations and platforms, aligning with priorities while leveraging collective advocacy Coordinate with Group Central Functions to align priorities and messaging Act as trusted advisor to senior leadership on political and regulatory developments Contribute to a cohesive government affairs operating model across the Group Zentrale Anforderungen Fluent in English and French; German is highly desirable Strong communication skills, both verbal and written Excellent interpersonal and relationship management abilities High energy, proactive, and adaptable with a can-do attitude Good judgment and strategic thinking; trusted advisor to senior executives Deep understanding of policy-making in the US and Switzerland; international exposure Strong existing networks in Switzerland and the United States Proven ability to build and manage relationships with senior stakeholders Highly organized and results-oriented; able to work under pressure 10–15 years’ experience in government affairs, public policy, or related fields Experience across corporate, public sector, or consultancy environments Experience with crisis/issues communications and policy in consumer-facing or regulated industries strong communication relationship management influence without authority policy monitoring advocacy strategy stakeholder engagement
