ph3ROLE PURPOSE /h3 pThe Government Affairs Sr Manager, CH, US will support the execution of the Group’s global government affairs strategy, with responsibility for driving impact and building influence in priority international markets. The role is accountable for government affairs engagement in Switzerland and the United States, aligned with business priorities and in coordination with the other Group Government Affairs team members. The engagement will evolve over time to include international markets outside the EU. Fully integrated within Group Corporate Affairs and working in close alignment with Group Central Functions, Group Regions, and Maisons, the position will ensure consistent, high-impact engagement with policymakers and stakeholders in support of the Group’s and its Maisons’ business priorities and long-term reputation. The Government Affairs Sr Manager, CH, US will report to the Group Government Affairs and Industry Relations Director and will be part of the Group Government Affairs team. /p h3HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT? /h3 h3Strategy Execution Market Prioritisation /h3 ul liLead the implementation of the Group’s global government affairs strategy across international markets, with clear prioritisation of key geographies. /li liTranslate global policy priorities (e.g. ESG, trade, data, tax, product regulation) into targeted, market-specific engagement plans. /li liLead execution in assigned priority markets, ensuring strict alignment with Group positions and messaging. /li /ul h3Stakeholder Engagement Influence /h3 ul liLead the Group’s government affairs activities in Switzerland and the United States, developing and executing tailored engagement strategies. /li liBuild and maintain senior-level relationships with policymakers, regulators, and key stakeholders. /li liSupport senior leadership engagement with government stakeholders, particularly in Switzerland, given its role as the Group’s headquarters location and a key strategic stakeholder environment. /li liEnsure coordinated and consistent engagement across Maisons. /li liPosition the Group as a trusted and credible partner in policy discussions impacting the luxury sector. /li liDevelop and execute annual stakeholder engagement plans with clear objectives, milestones and measurable outcomes aligned with Group priorities. /li /ul h3Policy Monitoring Advocacy /h3 ul liMonitor and assess relevant policy, legislative and regulatory developments across assigned markets. /li liDevelop and implement advocacy strategies in priority international markets. /li liMonitor and assess geopolitical, trade and economic policy developments impacting the Group's international operations and support advocacy strategies to protect market access and business continuity /li liEnsure alignment with Group positions before external engagement. /li liCoordinate with trade associations and external partners’ advocacy strategies in line with the Group Government Affairs strategy and Maisons needs. /li liRepresent the Group within relevant trade associations and industry platforms in selected markets, ensuring alignment with Group priorities and maximizing responsible influence through collective advocacy, collaborating with committee representatives to bring additional expertise when relevant. /li /ul h3Internal Coordination and Integration /h3 ul liWork closely with Group Central Functions, including Legal, Sustainability, Communications, Operations, Marketing, Human Resources, Finance, relevant Maisons, and Group Government Affairs Senior Manager, Europe to align on policy priorities and engagement plans. /li liEnsure consistency of messaging and positioning across markets. /li liAct as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on political and regulatory developments. /li liContribute to building a cohesive government affairs operating model, building a coordinated and effective approach across the Group. /li /ul h3HOW WILL YOU EXPERIENCE SUCCESS WITH US? /h3 h3Knowledge Skills /h3 ul liFluent in English and French. German highly desirable. /li liStrong communication skills, verbal and writing. /li liExceptional interpersonal and relationship management skills, ability to manage by influence. /li liHigh energy and a positive attitude, with a pleasant and open personality. /li liSound judgment and strong intellect. /li liAbility to be a trusted advisor for senior executive members. /li liProactiveness and flexibility, displaying a can-do attitude. /li liStrong understanding of policy-making processes in key markets, particularly United States and Switzerland, with exposure to international environments. /li liMust have a strong network in Switzerland and a well-established one in the United States. /li liDemonstrated ability to build and manage relationships with senior stakeholders. /li liHighly organised and results-oriented, ability to work under pressure. /li /ul h3Education Experience /h3 ul liBachelor’s degree in Humanities, Political Science, International Relations, Law, Economics, or Social Sciences, Master’s degree a plus. /li li10-15 years’ experience in government affairs, public policy, or related fields. /li liBackground spanning corporate, public sector, or consultancy environments. /li liStrong expertise across government relations/public affairs and communications disciplines, including crisis/issues communications. /li liExperience in consumer-facing industries or regulated industries is an advantage. /li liComfortable with ambiguity and power dynamics. /li liStrong business acumen. /li /ul pEach of the areas of responsibility will involve a variety of different challenges requiring the person to be both flexible and adaptable whilst demonstrating gravitas in their dealings with internal and external stakeholders. /p /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
