5G Wireless Integration Engineer (m/f/d)

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

You integrate 5G modem and wireless communication capabilities into the overall product platform and ensure seamless interaction across all system components.

You drive end-to-end wireless system integration and support the successful deployment of new communication technologies into embedded products.

You act as the technical focal point between RF, Hardware, and Software teams, ensuring effective collaboration and alignment throughout the development lifecycle.

You ensure interoperability of wireless features across hardware, firmware, and software components.

You support mobility and IRAT-related features and contribute to the validation of wireless communication scenarios.

You troubleshoot complex system-level issues, perform root cause analyses, and drive resolution across multiple engineering disciplines.

You support platform qualification, system validation, and release readiness activities to ensure product quality and reliability.

You contribute to test automation, CI/CD processes, and integration workflows to improve development efficiency and product stability.

THAT'S YOU

Master’s degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, or a comparable technical discipline

Experience with embedded Linux systems and the integration of communication technologies into embedded products

Good understanding of wireless communication technologies such as LTE, 5G, Wi‑Fi, Bluetooth, or comparable wireless systems

Hands‑on experience with system integration, troubleshooting, and debugging of complex embedded or communication‑driven systems

Strong knowledge of Embedded Linux, C/C++, and networking fundamentals such as TCP/IP and UDP

Experience with cellular modem integration, system-level validation, and root cause analysis methodologies

Familiarity with test automation frameworks, Python scripting, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile/Scrum development environments

Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in international cross‑functional teams; fluent English required, German is a plus
