Based at RIEFILT headquarters in Lüneburg, you will be our in-house water quality expert — analyzing samples from across our project portfolio, supporting the sales team with water assessments, and ensuring all BOOT installations meet regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities
- Perform laboratory analysis of water and wastewater samples (pH, conductivity, TDS, COD, BOD, heavy metals)
- Interpret results and prepare water quality reports for clients
- Support pre-sales team with free quick-check assessments and professional water audits
- Monitor compliance with German (TrinkwV, AbwV) and EU water regulations
- Maintain laboratory equipment and quality management documentation
- Develop water treatment recommendations based on analytical results
Requirements
- BSc in Chemistry, Environmental Science, or Water Technology
- 2+ years in water/wastewater laboratory analysis
- Experience with ICP-OES, IC, photometry, and standard analytical methods
- Knowledge of German water regulations (TrinkwV, AbwV, WHG)
- German (fluent) and English (good)
- Detail-oriented with strong documentation skills
