Act as the primary finance business partner to Operations leadership, supporting Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Logistics, Procurement and Quality functions. Lead and continuously improve the Operations Controlling function, processes, methodologies and governance frameworks. Drive financial controllership across Operations and provide controlling-based guidance for operational decision-making. Own production costing methodologies, including material pricing, labor rates, routings, manufacturing overheads and cost allocation principles. Ensure accuracy, consistency and completeness of all operational financial data, including actuals, budgets and forecasts. Lead annual budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning activities for Operations cost centers and functions. Establish realistic operational targets and monitor performance against budget and forecast. Perform variance analyses and drive corrective actions together with Operations stakeholders. Define, monitor and continuously improve operational and financial KPIs. Develop and maintain standardized management reporting and performance dashboards. Drive the implementation, automation and maintenance of digitalized reporting and controlling solutions. Support month-end and year-end closing activities related to manufacturing and operational functions. Lead financial evaluation of capital investments, automation initiatives, capacity expansion projects and operational improvement programs. Ensure compliance with controlling standards, financial governance requirements and internal controls. Identify operational and financial risks and coordinate appropriate mitigation measures. Drive continuous process improvement initiatives and promote best practices across the organization. Build, lead and develop a high-performing Operations Controlling team. Support recruitment, succession planning and professional development of team members. Act as an ambassador of financial accountability, data-driven decision-making and end-to-end process thinking across Operations. Requirements
University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or a related field. 810+ years of experience in Controlling, Manufacturing Finance, Operations Finance or Finance Business Partnering. Experience within automotive, manufacturing, industrial or other complex production environments. Proven experience in production costing, manufacturing controlling and operational performance management. Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, financial planning and variance analysis processes. Demonstrated ability to act as a trusted advisor to senior operational and finance stakeholders. Proven leadership experience in building, managing and developing teams. Strong understanding of manufacturing operations, cost structures and operational performance drivers. Experience establishing and improving controlling processes, frameworks and best practices. Experience with ERP systems (Infor experience is considered an advantage) and modern reporting tools. Advanced Excel skills; Power BI, SQL and data analytics experience are considered an advantage. Experience in investment evaluation, business case development and profitability analysis. Strong analytical, process-oriented and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication, stakeholder management and influencing skills.
