Downhole Equipment Inspector

RINA is looking for an experienced Mechanical Inspector to perform inspection activities on behalf of RINA for our esteemed clients in Germany.

• Inspector must have experience in DOWNHOLE EQUIPMENTS, including manufacturing of Wellhead & X‑mass Tree Equipment (Casing Head, Casing Head Spool, Tubing Head Spool, X‑mass Tree, Tubing Hanger, Casing Hanger, Running & Retrieval Tools, BOP test plugs, Drilling Adapters & Spools), Raiser Spools, Clamp Hubs, Uni‑head System and API 6A rated Gate Valves.
• Mechanical Degree (Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, Welding Engineering) or graduate from high school in relevant branches.
• Experience as an Offshore Inspector (min. 3 years); inspectors should have experience at the vendor’s premises.

Experience may cover daily inspections or short/long‑term project inspections on behalf of clients or third‑party inspections.

• Ability to prepare daily/weekly inspection reports.
• Adequate level of English for reporting, understanding international standards/codes, and communicating with clients if needed.
• Being a freelancer inspector or part of an inspectors agency/society, the inspector or the company must be able to invoice the service.

We can only consider residents in Germany for this position.
