RINA is looking for experienced Welding Inspector to perform inspection activities on behalf of RINA for our esteemed clients in Germany.
Requested:
- Inspector must hold valid Welding certificate, e.g. IWI, IWE, CSWIP or CWI.
- Mechanical Degree (Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, Welding Engineering or graduate from high school in relevant branches).
- Experience as an Offshore Inspector (min. 3 years); Inspectors should have inspection experience at the vendor’s premises. Experience may cover daily inspections or short term/long term project inspections on behalf of clients or third party inspections.
- Ability to prepare daily/weekly inspection reports.
- Adequate level of English for reporting, understanding international standards/codes, and communicating with clients in case of need.
- Being a freelancer inspector or part of inspectors agency/society, the inspector or the company should be able to invoice the service.
Location:
Please note, we can only consider residents in Germany for this position.
Period:
7/7/2026 (assignment to start with weekly visits which may increase to a semi resident assignment (up to 3 days per week) at a later point in time).
Contract:
To Freelancer or to Inspector agencies, for ad hoc activities.
