By combining custom robot hardware, onboard autonomy, and cloud-based coordination, RIVR, part of Amazon is building the next generation of safe, reliable autonomous robots for last-mile delivery /p h3Job Description /h3 pWe’re looking for a Finance professional who can jump in quickly to accelerate our integration into Amazon’s financial process. This will require a combination of new business process development, optimization, automation and transition. The first month of the job will be heavily process focused which will enable an in-depth understanding of RIVRs technology and business as well as Amazon. Once integration is stabilized the role will shift to more traditional FPA, along with the addition of strategic product finance over time. /p h3What you’ll be doing /h3 pbMA Integration Finance Support /b /p ul liSupport the financial integration of a newly acquired company into Amazon's systems, processes, and reporting frameworks /li liPartner with Finance Ops, accounting, treasury, tax, and business teams to ensure seamless migration of financial data and processes /li liManage the manual components of the Finance process until integration into Amazon's Automated systems targeted for Q4’2026. (Develop interim automation if feasible) /li liDevelop and maintain integration project trackers, identifying risks and escalating blockers to leadership /li liBuild bridge reporting between legacy and Amazon financial systems during the transition period /li liSupport Day 1 readiness activities including system cutover planning and validation /li liCreate and document new Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for integrated financial processes /li /ul pbMonth-End Close /b /p ul liOwn and execute month-end close activities in conjunction with 3rd party Accounting professionals as well as Amazon Corporate Accounting and Finance teams. /li liPrepare and review financial and management reporting packages /li liPartner with accounting to ensure accurate and timely close within Amazon's reporting calendar /li liPerform balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies /li liIdentify and implement process improvements to reduce close cycle timeEnsure complete and accurate submissions of supporting documentation and general ledger /li /ul pbForecasting Planning /b /p ul liBuild and maintain financial models to support monthly/quarterly forecasting and annual planning (OP1/OP2) /li liAnalyze financial results vs. forecast and prior periods, providing clear explanations of variances /li liPartner with business stakeholders to develop bottoms-up forecasts incorporating key business drivers /li liIdentify and Drive cost reduction opportunities in the design and operational implementation of the Automated Delivery Robot System /li liPrepare WBR/MBR/QBR financial content and support leadership reviews /li liDevelop automated reporting solutions to improve forecast accuracy and reduce manual effort /li /ul h3What you must have /h3 ul liBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field /li li2+ years of finance or accounting experience /li liExperience building automated reporting solutions (AI Workflows, QuickSight, or similar) /li liExperience with financial modeling and variance analysis for a Product or Service based industry (Tech, Manufacturing, Logistics etc.) /li liProficiency in Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, lookups) and financial systems /li liExperience with month-end close processes as well as SwissCo and GAAP accounting principles /li /ul h3Get some bonus points /h3 ul liExperience supporting MA integration or post-merger financial operations /li liExperience building automated reporting solutions (Tableau, QuickSight, or similar) /li liDemonstrated ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment /li liStrong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence without authority /li /ul pRIVR, part of Amazon is committed to building a diverse and inclusive team that values every perspective.
