Then continue reading! /ph3Tasks — What you can expect from the job /h3pKajo is a distributed application built around the architectural concept of event sourcing, designed to support our customers as well as our internal scheme compliance experts. /ppAs a senior backend engineer, you will collaborate with our team on the following responsibilities: /pulliExpand the current functionality of Kajo with new features and improvements. /liliMaintain the existing codebase(s), identify pain points, and suggest solutions. /liliDevelop tools that help internal users manage the operational workload. /liliLead the design and implementation of new parts of the stack as the product requirements grow. /liliUse AI coding tools as a core part of your daily workflow, and help the team find better ways to use them to move faster and raise code quality. /liliPick up the occasional frontend ticket or end-to-end task alongside your backend work — we're a small, product-focused team and value engineers who can move across the stack when it's useful. /liliUse your experience to enable fellow engineers by sharing your knowledge and unique points of view. /li /ulh3The Kajo Backend Tech Stack /h3pBelow you can find a description of the Kajo Backend Tech Stack. Thus, we are looking for an experienced engineer capable of delivering high quality cloud/web applications who is also comfortable working in an AI‑assisted way and open to picking up work outside a narrow backend lane. /ph3Our requirements /h3pOur main backend language is Kotlin and you will be mainly writing Kotlin code as part of this job.
