AI Process Consultant (m/f/d)

(unlimited, full‑time) Join our team at one of our locations in Berlin or Verl – hybrid working conditions available. Help transform how Riverty works—process by process, use case by use case.

As part of Riverty’s newly established, CEO‑sponsored central AI Unit , the AI Process Consultant plays a critical role in unlocking AI’s business value. You will help shape and deliver AI‑driven process improvements across the organization—by identifying opportunities, framing the right solutions, and guiding implementation.

You’ll work closely with functional and business units to determine the best path forward—whether it\’s optimizing a process, automating it, or using AI to drive decisions. You may also be embedded in cross‑functional teams to support end‑to‑end delivery of key initiatives.

Your Responsibilities

• Analyze and map end‑to‑end business processes to identify inefficiencies and automation/AI opportunities.
• Run workshops and interviews with process owners to understand current‑state workflows and constraints.
• Evaluate process maturity, standardization, and data readiness to recommend the best‑fit solution: optimization (redesign, simplification), automation (e.g., RPA, workflow orchestration), AI/ML (e.g., prediction, classification, NLP).
• Define use case scope, success metrics, and technical/data needs.
• Draft solution outlines and hand over to technical teams or co‑develop with AI Tech Consultants.
• Support change management by clearly communicating expected benefits, impacts, and user value.
• Act as a trusted advisor for business teams, helping prioritize and shape their AI transformation journey.

What You Bring

• 4+ years of experience in process optimization (Lean, Six Sigma, BPM) and automation technologies (e.g., RPA).
• Familiarity with applied AI/ML concepts and how they relate to business problems.
• Proven ability to work cross‑functionally with business stakeholders, IT, and data teams.
• Experience in use case framing and value‑driven solution design.
• Excellent facilitation, communication, and documentation skills.
• Knowledge of process mining tools (e.g., Celonis, Signavio).
• Exposure to AI project delivery and/or change management.
