Senior CQV Engineers & C&Q Leads with Pharmaceutical Manufacturing experience
Location: Alzey, Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany (Southwest Germany, near Mainz and Frankfurt)
The Opportunity
RIZE Deutschland is recruiting experienced CQV Engineers and C&Q Leads for a major, state-of-the-art pharmaceutical manufacturing project in Alzey, Germany.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-profile pharmaceutical development during its critical commissioning, qualification and validation phase, supporting the transition towards commercial production in 2027.
We are particularly interested in specialists with experience in:
- Commissioning & Qualification (C&Q/CQV) – Pharmaceutical facilities, equipment and utilities
- Clean Utilities – PW, WFI, Clean Steam and CIP/SIP systems
- HVAC & Cleanrooms – Commissioning, qualification and GMP compliance
- Fill & Finish – Aseptic filling, formulation, inspection and packaging equipment
- Validation – FAT, SAT, DQ, IQ, OQ and PQ protocols
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate and execute commissioning and qualification activities.
- Prepare, review and execute CQV protocols and technical documentation.
- Work closely with engineering teams, equipment suppliers and project stakeholders.
- Manage deviations, technical issues and equipment handovers.
- Ensure compliance with EU GMP standards, including Annex 1 and Annex 15.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years' CQV experience within pharmaceutical or biotechnology manufacturing; senior leads ideally 8-10+ years.
- Experience supporting new-build pharmaceutical facilities or major manufacturing expansions.
- Strong knowledge of GMP, qualification protocols and pharmaceutical equipment.
- Ability to work independently and coordinate technical workstreams.
- Fluent English – German language skills are NOT required.
