Compliance and Regulatory Coordinator

My client, a leading telecoms operator, is looking to recruit a Compliance and Regulatory Coordinator for a permanent position based in Düsseldorf, Germany.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate regulatory and security queries from the German authorities (e.g., BNetzA or BSI) related to MVNOs and ensure timely responses.
• Lead improvement initiatives due to new regulatory requirements or operational processes in cooperation with other MNOs to enhance customer experience.
• Manage security incidents related to regulatory matters.
• Coordinate regulatory queries and requests from authorities, including BNetzA and BSI; ensure preparation of responses in line with given deadlines.
• Manage stakeholder relationships and serve as the primary interface to German authorities.
• Manage security and data privacy incidents together with group functions.
• Own mandatory security concepts and ensure regular updates with external partners; update and create security documentation as needed.
• Coordinate partners to fulfill regulatory requirements (e.g., Lawful Interception) and monitor their performance.
• Continuously improve processes (e.g., Mobile Number Portability), including alignment with authorities and coordination of deployment activities within the business.

Qualifications

You will have 3-4 years of relevant experience working in a similar position for a MNO or MVNO, with strong analytical skills and excellent customer-facing abilities.
