This role leads Rizing's Global Center of Excellence (COE) for Payroll. The role is Rizing's market-facing expert in the Payroll module, responsible for establishing a strong brand and credibility for Rizing as a trusted advisor in this area. It involves strong thought leadership and proven domain expertise and plays a critical role in driving our delivery and implementation approach as well as ensuring employee skills development and continuous leading practice processes. The Global COE Lead for Payroll drives professional development across the organization for their subject area globally encouraging collaboration and knowledge sharing across all consultants that are members of the Center of Excellence. This role also owns the relevant Rizing Payroll Modules, ensuring that our solution continues to be the best in class and leader across the world. This is a client-facing role providing domain expertise and thought leadership to existing customers and potential clients during sales processes.
Essential Functions
- Responsible for the development and management of the Center of Excellence (COE) for Payroll.
- Enables consultants and sales teams globally in all aspects of Payroll.
- Owns delivery excellence initiatives for the area of expertise.
- Delivers client projects as Lead Consultant or Solution Architect.
- Owns the support of products across the Line of Business (LOB).
- Responsible for the development of offerings across the LOB.
- Creates and maintains tools & templates.
- Responsible for development of the Rizing HCM Project Methodology & associated tools/templates that are relevant to the subject area of expertise.
- Responsible for development of the Rizing Payroll solution in collaboration with Rizing People.
- Responsible for Rizing's approach to release management for Payroll.
- Consults and advises customers on Best Practice project implementation from the COE subject area.
- Collaborates closely with project managers to optimize project success and profitability.
- Designs and hosts knowledge-sharing sessions related to the COE area.
Essential Functions (Continued)
- Contributes to software implementation standards and best practices.
- Mentors and coaches consultants on projects and implementations.
- Completes and maintains all necessary paperwork, timesheets, expenses, etc.
- Maintains certifications & relevant qualifications for the team globally in the COE area.
- Sales support in the domain expertise.
- Participates in internal project work as required.
- Contributes to Methodology discussions/reviews.
- Delivers thought leadership by sharing expertise through blogs, webinars, etc.
- Contributes to training initiatives.
- Contributes to customer-facing training materials/documentation.
- Improves competitiveness and cost optimization while driving innovation.
- Forms links and encourages collaboration across the lines of business to enable business objectives.
- Measures performance through training, research, and extensive knowledge sharing in Payroll globally.
- Develops relationships with SAP, specifically their global product team Payroll.
- Involved in marketing activities such as the development of whitepapers, blogs, leading webinars, and event presentations.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or related discipline, with formal project management education or equivalent work experience.
- 5+ years experience in a Professional Services firm as a consultant.
- 5+ years experience in HR business or familiarity with key Human Resource functions and concepts.
- SuccessFactors (SAP) certification as an associate for Employee Central and Employee Central Payroll at a minimum.
