Data Engineer / Architect - Kafka Data Products

Data Engineer - Kafka Data Products Vacancy for our Switzerland based client in the Telco sector.
Your Tasks
Analyse and map existing data structures to the company data model
Design Kafka data products, including definition of event models, data contracts and topic structures
Establish best practices for Kafka-based data product development
Develop, implement and integrate data products using Kafka
Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure successful data architecture and implementation
Your Experience / Knowledge
Expert-level experience with Kafka Streams, ksqlDB or Flink
Strong proficiency in using Kafka, Kubernetes, and Elasticsearch
Ability to automate data operations lifecycle (develop, deploy, validate, observe)
Deep knowledge in search (Elasticsearch)
Higher education degree or equivalent experience
Language skills: English
Your Soft Skills
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to work efficiently in collaborative and agile environments
