We’re working with a leading European engineering and construction contractor delivering major data centre and mission-critical projects across Europe.
They are looking for an experienced Commissioning Engineer / Cx Engineer to join a large-scale data centre project in Frankfurt, supporting commissioning activities from planning and testing through to final handover.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the project commissioning plan and schedule.
- Coordinate electrical and mechanical commissioning activities.
- Work closely with subcontractors, vendors and the wider project delivery team.
- Carry out and witness testing, inspections and commissioning activities.
- Support tagging, LOTO and Area Control Permit procedures.
- Maintain commissioning documentation, test records and snagging lists.
- Support IST activities, system verification and final close-out.
- Report commissioning progress and issues to the Commissioning Manager and project team.
Requirements
- 5+ years’ commissioning experience.
- Strong data centre or mission-critical project experience.
- Good knowledge of electrical and/or mechanical systems.
- Experience with testing, IST and handover processes.
- Strong coordination and communication skills.
- Engineering qualification or equivalent technical background.
