To strengthen our team in Germany, we are looking for an experienced and strategic Director of HR & Administration to lead our HR and administrative functions. In this key leadership role, you will drive HR strategies, optimize operational efficiency, and foster a positive and engaging workplace culture.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and programs aligned with business objectives.
- Drive talent management, workforce planning, and employee engagement initiatives.
- Lead and develop a high-performing HR & Admin team (currently 5 employees), enhancing organizational effectiveness and company culture.
- Act as a trusted advisor to the Country Manager and senior leadership, providing HR guidance and coaching.
- Collaborate with the Head of HR to refine people and culture strategies, fostering motivation and team development.
- Oversee performance management systems to enhance employee productivity and engagement.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws, labor regulations, and HR best practices.
- Manage and optimize compensation, benefits, and employee relations programs.
- Oversee general administrative operations, ensuring smooth office management and efficiency.
- Manage budgets, procurement, and vendor relationships related to office administration.
- Optimize administrative policies and processes (e.g., company car policies, car allowances).
- Ensure workplace safety and compliance with occupational health regulations.
- Improve internal communication and workflow processes for better operational efficiency.
- Maintain company records, reports, and documentation in alignment with legal and organizational requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor\’s degree or above in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5-8 years of progressive HR & administrative leadership experience.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws, compliance regulations, and HR best practices.
- Proven track record in talent management, organizational development, and employee relations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and drive organizational change.
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
