We are seeking an Associate to join our client, a boutique law firm, based in Geneva.

Our client is a Geneva-based boutique law firm specialised in international arbitration and is recognised globally for its expertise. The firm handles complex cases across commercial, investment, and sports arbitration.

Your responsibilities:

  1. Represent clients in high-stakes international arbitration proceedings under key institutional rules (e.g., ICC, LCIA, SIAC, UNCITRAL)
  2. Advise on cross-border disputes, treaty arbitrations, and complex commercial matters
  3. Draft submissions, pleadings, witness statements, and other legal documents
  4. Conduct research and analysis on arbitration law and procedure in multiple jurisdictions
  5. Collaborate with clients, experts, and counsel to develop effective case strategies
  6. Assist with enforcement of arbitration awards and related litigation

Minimum Requirements:

  1. Swiss qualified lawyer
  2. 3 – 5 years of post-qualification experience in international arbitration, ideally gained at a top-tier law firm or a recognised arbitration boutique
  3. Strong academic background in law; additional qualifications in arbitration or international law are an advantage
  4. Proven experience managing complex and high-value disputes
  5. Excellent drafting and advocacy skills with strong attention to detail
  6. Ability to build and maintain client relationships, demonstrating commercial acumen
  7. Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus
