This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accounting professional to take ownership of financial reporting, statutory accounting, and audit coordination within a dynamic and growing business. Experienced Accountant The position offers a broad scope of responsibilities, exposure to Swiss accounting standards, and the opportunity to work in a collaborative international environment. Your responsibilities Manage general ledger, accounts payable and receivable, fixed assets, and accruals Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with the Swiss Code of Obligations (OR) and Swiss GAAP FER Perform balance sheet reconciliations and financial analyses Support budgeting and variance analysis Assist with tax and VAT-related matters Coordinate external audits and act as a key contact for auditors and relevant authorities Prepare ad hoc financial reports and support payment processing activities Contribute to the continuous improvement of accounting processes and controls Your profile Commercial education (EFZ) or an equivalent qualification Further education in finance and accounting (or currently pursuing a relevant qualification) Several years of experience in Swiss financial accounting Strong knowledge of Swiss accounting regulations (OR) and experience with Swiss GAAP FER; IFRS exposure is beneficial Experience working with auditors and regulatory authorities is an advantage Fluent and English (written and spoken) Independent, reliable, and detail-oriented working style with strong analytical skills knowledge of Microsoft 365; experience with SAP Business One and/or LucaNet is a plus Walters Switzerland AG Teisseire Walters Switzerland AG Teisseire jid94c46f8tt jit1042tt jiy26tt
