This role is ideal for a lawyer with 3-7 years' experience in a commodity trading environment who enjoys working close to the business and handling both day-to-day trading support and complex disputes. Legal Counsel - Commodity Trading What you'll do Advise traders and operators on international commodity trading transactions. Draft and negotiate trading, shipping and logistics contracts. Manage disputes, arbitrations and claims (GAFTA, FOSFA, LCIA, charterparties, cargo claims, etc.). Support the business on broader legal matters including corporate, compliance and commercial projects. Work closely with senior stakeholders across the global trading organisation. What we're looking for 3-7 years of legal experience gained in-house at a commodity trading company or advising commodity trading clients in private practice. Strong knowledge of commodity trading, maritime/shipping law and international trade contracts. Hands-on experience with disputes, arbitrations and claims management. Commercial mindset with the confidence to work directly with traders and business leaders. Fluent English; additional languages are an advantage. Why join?
