Senior Corporate Counsel (Temporary) Our client in the manufacturing sector is currently seeking a Senior Corporate Counsel (Temporary) to join their team.
Your Responsibilities:
Advise senior management on corporate governance, board matters, and multi‑jurisdictional compliance
Draft, review, and maintain corporate policies, charters, and governance documents aligned with best practices
Manage entity formation, maintenance, and global corporate structure to ensure efficiency and compliance
Negotiate a broad range of commercial agreements, including NDAs, vendor, service, and partnership contracts
Support M&A and joint ventures through due diligence and post‑closing integration
Partner with business, finance, and operations teams to structure commercially sound, compliant deals
Oversee compliance with corporate, data protection, employment, and competition laws
Manage regulatory filings, reporting, and risk processes to protect organisational interests
Direct pre‑litigation strategies, manage external counsel, and mitigate risks proactively
Mentor junior legal staff and enhance legal operations and processes
Foster strong relationships with business leaders and external advisors to support strategic objectives
Your Qualifications:
Qualified lawyer with 7+ years post‑qualification experience in a top‑tier law firm and/or in‑house legal department
Fluent in German and English; additional languages are a plus
Strong experience in corporate law, commercial contracts, and M&A
Excellent drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills
Proven ability to balance legal risk with commercial pragmatism
Exceptional communication skills and stakeholder management ability
High level of integrity, professional judgement, and attention to detail
