Group Head for Safety Data Acquisition & Partnering
(DA&P), you will lead a high-performing team focused on establishing strategic collaborations, ensuring compliance, and governing the vital "Front-End" pillar of Patient Safety Operations.
In this pivotal role, you will merge the oversight of external asset integrations and contractual safety arrangements with the advanced management of our upstream safety data supply chain. Championing agile working principles, you will collaborate with internal and external partners across all data sources and all therapeutic modalities to deliver fit-for-purpose data solutions and influence the adoption of next-generation automation and AI technologies.
Key Responsibilities:

Support Due Diligence:
Partner with internal and external customers during company and molecule acquisitions to pre‑emptively address and assess contractual requirements.
Provide Strategic Guidance:
Deliver expert knowledge on safety agreement strategies across diverse setups, including licensing agreements, clinical trial collaborations, and PV service providers.
Innovate Data Acquisition:
Partner globally to influence how technologies like artificial intelligence, cognitive computing, and automation can enhance safety data acquisition.
Govern the Data Supply Chain:
Collaborate across Affiliates, Pharma, and Diagnostics to secure timely, high‑quality safety data while ensuring strict compliance with global regulations.
Ensure Quality & Compliance:
Maintain full oversight of Quality Management System (QMS) processes to ensure constant inspection readiness across operations.
Ensure Maintenance
of the deep process expertise within the team, particularly among Business Process Owners (BPOs), ensuring this critical knowledge is connected and consistently applied across the organisation.
Who You Are
You are a visionary, systems‑thinking leader who thrives on connecting people, ideas, and technologies across complex matrix environments. You bring a collaborative, growth‑oriented mindset and are passionate about mentoring diverse teams to unlock their full potential.
To be successful in this role, you bring:
Extensive Industry Experience:
Significant experience within pharmacovigilance systems, operations, and global PV regulatory obligations.
Contractual Expertise:
Proven track record in safety contract management and negotiating agreements across diverse stakeholder setups.
Agile Leadership:
Demonstrated success in leading, coaching, and empowering high‑performing teams in multicultural environments using agile methodologies.
Technological Fluency:
A strong awareness of digital health systems and technical advancements, particularly in how AI and cognitive computing apply to data workflows.
