The Position

Our Vision
Our vision is to develop a disruptive diagnostic platform for Next Generation Sequencing (NGS), thereby providing significant clinical benefits to our patients. We are looking for a scientist in the NGS field (m/f/d) with a strong expertise in DNA chemistry. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to an innovative, exciting, and promising NGS technology. The offered position provides the opportunity to become part of a young and motivated team that interacts with numerous functions within the company, also at various locations.

Our Team
We are part of Research and Reagent Design (RRD) and are responsible, among other things, for the development of assays and formulations in the PCR field. Additionally, we evaluate reagents in the course of developing a new innovative NGS platform.
We are a young and dedicated team of currently 9 members, working on development and optimization projects for use in diagnostic tests or instruments. After an intensive training in the basic techniques in our laboratories, we want to involve you in NGS related projects. In doing so, you will work with a multicultural and motivated team.

Your Profile

  • You hold a doctorate / Ph.D. in organic chemistry or biochemistry.
  • You have profound theoretical and practical knowledge of DNA chemistry and sequencing technologies.
  • You are familiar with state of the art biochemical methods especially PCR.
  • The ability to work independently and accurately, as well as to document this, is something you bring with you.
  • You are curious, enjoy working in a team, and have an initiative-driven performance motivation that is also one of your strengths.
  • You are proficient in English and not afraid of talking to international clients.

This position will be filled with effect winter 2024 and is limited to 2 years.
