Overview
As Roche's Global Medical Science Leader, you shape and drive medical strategies for innovative antibiotics on a global scale. You design integrated evidence plans spanning clinical studies, real-world data, and collaborations, guiding development, launch, and patient access. You build trusted partnerships with medical leaders, payers, and public-private health bodies while advancing market access through value-driven insights. You will represent Roche globally, disseminate science, and mentor colleagues across the medical network. This is a chance to influence practice and improve access to life-saving therapies worldwide.

- Lead and shape medical strategies for innovative antibiotics
- Design and deliver integrated evidence generation plans across clinical studies, IISs, RWD, and scientific collaborations
- Guide development, launch, and patient access using deep Infectious Diseases expertise
- Build trusted partnerships with global medical leaders, patient organizations, payers, and public-private health institutions
- Strengthen market access by integrating clinical and ecosystem insights into value-driven solutions
- Disseminate science through education and peer-to-peer engagement
- Represent Roche globally and share insights with the medical community
- Mentor and empower colleagues across the worldwide medical network
- Foster collaboration and agility within cross-functional teams
Zentrale Anforderungen
- PhD or MD in Medicine, Life Sciences, or related field
- At least 5 years in pharmaceutical Medical Affairs (local and global) plus hands-on clinical hospital experience
- Deep Therapeutic Expertise in Infectious Diseases, Antimicrobial Resistance, and Respiratory diseases
- Proven ecosystem & external stakeholder engagement with multidisciplinary connections
- Experience in end-to-end evidence generation using RWD and clinical study designs
- Strategic and matrix leadership across Commercial, Clinical Ops, and Medical in diverse geographies
- Fluent in English; additional languages a plus
