Overview In this role you will shape EU HTA evidence strategy and lead sophisticated analyses to support patient access across European markets. You will work within the Global Access team to drive evidence generation, align with EMA regulations, and advance submissions that inform reimbursement decisions. Your work helps position Roche as a leader in EU HTA quality and innovation, collaborating with cross-functional teams and external bodies. This is a high-impact, strategic position with a focus on advancing access for patients through rigorous, region-specific evidence. Verantwortungsbereiche Lead EU HTA evidence strategy and embed anticipatory evidence planning into clinical development to align with EMA and EU HTA regulations Drive methodological innovation and engage with European HTA bodies, payers, and health authorities to influence submission approaches Architect region-specific evidence packages, identify evidence gaps early, and translate analyses into payer-facing narratives to drive reimbursement Establish Roche as an EU HTA expert by engaging with key opinion leaders and regulatory bodies to elevate submission quality Lead strategic statistical analyses (including network meta-analyses and real-world evidence syntheses) ensuring EU HTA compliance and clear storytelling Guide affiliates and cross-functional teams in building robust EU submission strategies and alignment with EMA pathways and national HTA requirements Contribute to EU HTA evolution through active engagement with HTA bodies, regulators, and academic networks Zentrale Anforderungen Masters or Doctoral-level degree in applied statistics 12+ years' experience in pharma, health economics/HTA consultancy, or EMA-regulated environments Recognized standing in European HTA community with established relationships and publications or advisory roles Deep knowledge of EU HTA landscape, EMA pathways, and real-world evidence requirements in EU contexts Master-level statistical expertise (GLM, Survival, Network Meta-Analysis, Bayesian methods) using R and tools like GitLab, SAS, Python, WinBUGS, JAGS Strong collaborative leadership and exceptional communication skills in English; German/French or other European languages a plus collaborative leadership exceptional communication strategic thinking Generalized Linear Models Survival Analysis Network Meta-Analysis
