To further strengthen the sales team in Italy, we are looking for an Area Sales Manager (m/f/d) to join as soon as possible.
Tasks
- Drive sales of high-precision measurement and testing systems to customers in Italy.
- Identify new business opportunities and build long-term customer relationships from initial contact to deal closure.
- Manage the entire sales process independently from prospecting to contract negotiation and successful completion.
- Analyse market potential and implement targeted sales strategies to expand business opportunities.
- Provide professional leadership and guidance to Sales Engineers, ensuring successful market development.
Requirements
- Strong background in electrical engineering or a related field, ideally with additional qualifications (e.g., Master Craftsman Technician or Bachelor\’s degree).
- 3-5 years of experience in a technical or sales-related position, ideally in an international setting.
- Proficiency in customer consulting, proposal preparation, and CRM systems along with MS Office skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills combined with a strong customer focus and service mindset.
- Self-driven, goal-oriented, and motivated to achieve success in a dynamic sales environment.
- Fluent in Italian and English (C1 level); German is a plus but not required.
- Willingness to travel within Italy.
